On a Roll

It's a beautiful day outside, but I opted to stay in and catch up with my scrapbook projects. DH is busy tending the garden in the backyard, the cat is by the glass door watching, DD went to shop for hair coloring highlights with a friend. It's her first time to drive - she got her driver's license yesterday. I have to keep busy to not get nervous about her 18-mile drive to Vernon Hills.

For all of my LOs today, I used Khristy Schmidt's Flirty Flowers Kit. I am featuring my husband's brother's (Benjamin's) family
.

The first LO is about Jhing, Benjamin's granddaughter. She is the one on the far left. I used Tekton for the font; re-colored the flower from yellow to pink, made a frame out of a row of beads.
The second LO is of Jaymie [Jhing's older sister] and Rosita [Benjamin's wife]. I used assorted colors for the flowers to give more color to the LO.

This is Jhing again. I don't know who she is with. Jaymie sent me the pictures via Yahoo! IM. For Bloom and Grow I recolored the flowers pink to give the LO some color. I used Gina Huff's Creating Beauty swirl2. I cut the swirl as it
was going to make the bottom part too busy. I copied the part that I cut and connected both halves to make a different swirl. The font is Script MT Bold.
This is Jolo, Jhing's and Jaymie's younger brother. What a ball of energy!

The swirl is from Kate Hadfield's Just Minty Mocha Kit. I recolored one of the papers into burnt orange, recolored the tag blue, and used the font, Roddy.

I love the scotch tape that came with the kit. It is the first time I used scotch tape to "adhere" the picture. It was so perfect for a boy's LO.
The next LO is that of Lynne's Benjamin's youngest daughter. I re-colored the flower from yellow to blue and added the butterfly epoxy in the center. I also used stitches from FafBr'Scraperia Savana.

I enjoyed making these layouts. Thank you, Khristy, Kate, FafBr, and the guys who designed the fonts!
